Responding to older threads
« on: July 19, 2024, 09:39:20 am »
I've looked for it here but haven't found it, however I wonder if it's okay to respond to threads that are several years old. I know that many forums elsewhere regulate this, but I don't know what the conventions are here.

I sometimes do so because we'll I get bored and otherwise it would just be like the same 10 topics over and over again for a while I haven't gotten in trouble for it so I guess it's ok

Sure if you have something to add to an old topic, you would get a warning about how it’s been over x number of weeks since the last reply but it’s better than opening new topics on the same subject. Also helps if you have questions on any previous comments although the person may not be around the forum to answer.
