I wouldn't say I'm a "metal head" lol. I listen to so many different genres and bands. I could list a few metal ones. Tho I'm not sure what crosses the line between hard rock, and metal.

Pantera, Iron Maiden, slipknot, korn, (is rob zombie metal?), slayer. Just off the top of my head.

I dabble in the metal from time to time.   Examples being:

Killswitch Engage, Dark Tranquility, Metallica, Korn, Sleep Token, Nightwish, Kamelot, August Burns Red, etc...   Hell, I'll even get down to some Dragon Force or Stratovarius.

YESSSSSSSS, i listen to a lot of thrash metal, mainly by the big four. i also play a lot of them on the guitar, especially the rhythm parts, i actually make my own versions of a lot of the songs, for example ive wrote a slightly different version of the main riff in master of puppets, i tune down to D standard, keep the general structure the same but add in some gallops and give it a more aggressive feel.

Also recently getting more into Meshuggah, bleed is one of my favourite songs. if you want to talk about metal or anything guitar related shoot me a PM
