Both. Or rather, I'm still transitioning from mere hobby to lifestyle.

Are you finding difficulty making it your lifestyle or are you in a tolerant environment that is accepting?

I wouldn't call nudity in of itself a hobby, as it's not like I sit there naked doing nothing. I do many of my other hobbies naked. So I guess it's more of a lifestyle, though I'm not someone who has to be naked 24/7 to be happy or anything

Definitely the first one.

It's a lifestyle for us. We are usually nude at home and it's kind of just a background thing we are while we do other things.

I think more of a lifestyle
Nudism will die a slow death unless more hobbists make it a way of life @Dylan

A lifestyle because I'm almost always nude and it's just normal for me.
Hello, Just a young nudist guy who is here to meet and make nudist friends. Been a nudist for a while now. If it were legal I really don't think I would ever wear clothes again. Just love the freedom of a clothes free life and it takes away all the barriers.

I see it as a lifestyle.  I am nude when I can be.

A lifestyle because a hobby is like a past time and I'm not naked to past time (I'm naked and bored sometimes :laughcrying:) I'm naked because I don't like to wear clothes !
I'm always ok to chat just write to me !

I see naturism as a lifestyle choice.  A conscious decision that reflects how you prefer to live.

A hobby, on the other hand, is something that I view as an actionable form of entertainment.  Such as collecting something, watching something, building something, playing something, operating something, etc.

Similar to what @Zachary said, I'm not going nude because I find it entertaining.   I'm going nude because I think it feels better than wearing clothes (most of the time).

Now, I suppose one could be pedantic and claim that participating at a forum like IYNO begins to blur the lines between a simple lifestyle choice and a hobby. Hmmm Any armchair philosophers on here care to discuss this matter?   My uneducated take is that nudism is very much a lifestyle choice.  One that will inevitably inspire some people to seek out others who feel/live the same way that they do (THATS US!).  Once someone finds a forum like IYNO and begins to visit on a regular basis, that's when visiting the forum becomes an actionable hobby.  One that was directly inspired by the nudist lifestyle.
