i encountered this article on "Naturism Lifestyle" and it brought this site to my awareness. it seems rather gimmicky, and easily coopted into pornography, but maybe i'm being pessimistic. check it out, make your own verdict. here's the article:

I wish the Nudistory guy was still making his videos, this would make the perfect place to host it. And also Naked Blogger, she eventually got axed from Youtube after lasting a lot longer than I thought she would.

Some good documentaries are up there but the AI upscaling has very mixed results, though I appreciate the effort. I wish someone could find a better copy of the BBC's "Let's Go Naked." Great doc but the only copy of it online is in terrible quality.

And it looks like Let's Go Naked is not longer on Youtube.

I like that it looks alot like YouTube, easy user interface.

It did take a while to load the front page.

I clicked on a 3 minute video and loading was not quick (like a minute for all pictures and text to load and video to buffer). Video kept stopping to catch up and load. Wonder what is the wait time for long videos.

I wonder what the moderation is going to be like? I am not just talking about putting porn, criminal videos but declaring what is "nudism" videos vs just videos of naked people. What about spam (Onlyfans)? Can I put non naked videos on here? What is ban-able offensive?

I can not even look at the FAQ without creating an account!

I think it's great that there is a website like this, which I believe could be ideal for showing the whole world that nudism is not perverse and can be integrated into normal life.

I clicked on a video showing a family preparing for Christmas Eve as if it were the most normal thing in the world (to do so naked). I think that videos like this should be shown to every nudism skeptic so that they understand (get a feeling) or think about the fact that nudity should or could actually be the norm and that society's expectation that people wear clothes always and everywhere, is an absurd development.

I wish there were many more sites like this (which show that nudity is something natural, normal, and not perverse), and they should be accessible to everyone without restriction (by which I don't mean that anyone should be able to publish videos containing nudity without restriction, because naturism should not be mixed with pornography).
However, I would find it even better if sites such as YouTube allowed the viewing of non-sexual nudity for everyone without registration.

These are very interesting and important questions. The fact that the site is so limited without registration is a negative point.

What also casts a negative light on the whole thing is that there is no free membership:

In order to join NudeTube, get access to our complete video library, and get your Premium account, you must join our sister site: Nudist Nation and upgrade to Premium membership there ($36/year or $3/month). It is the most genuine nudist social community out there with members from over 35 countries and ages ranging from teens to seniors.

I understand that the project has to be financed somehow, but in my opinion there are better models for this (e.g. advertising, donations).
Even if $3/month isn't that much, I think it somewhat contradicts the goal:

Our goal is to show the world that living clothes-free is normal, healthy, and great for all ages.

If you have to pay for it, in my opinion it is no longer something normal, but rather something exclusive (which is also reflected in the name "premium account").
Why should one be willing to pay for something normal, and besides, it makes it even less interesting for people who have not been interested in naturism up to now.

Most "nudist" sites have some kind of "premium" option which pretty much locks most of the features behind a paywall. This one ain't different.
As for the site performance.. the owner claims it's hosted on a server with limited bandwith and when it runs out, the site becomes borderline unusable.
