The beginnings of a new International Young Naturists forum

It didn't take me long to get comfortable with the new version of the forum. I think this change has been managed really well, thank you to everyone who worked to make it that way!

In today's day and age, I think it's great we still hav a forum community at all. Excited to see where the new site takes us!

My eyes are going to take some time to get use this but hopefully this means that a mobile version of the site was done.

Also why wasn't there any heads up or notice about this major website update. I tired logging in yesterday and I thought that was a web attack on the website?

We got the plug pulled on the old software version, so we had to scramble to get the new version online as fast as possible.

Got the plug pulled? Did the previous people realize that the nudist forum had nudity or something?

No, we are still on the same host. But we were slow on a major software update and security/compatibility patches only get you so far. When you are on the internet, you have to stay up to date, and to be compatible with the latest security updates, we had to start from a fairly clean state.

It is not irretrievably gone. It is just that we would have to undertake additional effort and cost to provide a gallery again, which we are open to doing, but only once we have a plan in place for what we want our future gallery to be. We have various reasons (which I will not go into detail on at this point) to not bring back the exact same gallery we had before, but that does not mean there will never be any gallery again.
Nor will I promise there will be one. As I said, many questions still open.

I instantly miss the green color of the forum.

We tried to bring in some of the green accents while still sticking with a very readable theme. Do you have any suggestions where we could benefit from more green?

Your artwork and your very artistic photos are safe. I can send them to your email address if you would like. If you do not need the captions and comments, that is actually fairly easy.

And it is not like we did not give advance notice to back up your gallery content.

A dark mode would be cool

Maybe posts could have different coloured outlines, drop shadow or glow or something based on their rank or post count, or if not that maybe just for posts with a lot of likes and maybe a specific colour for staff members too so they can easily stand out

Perhaps an updated logo? Slightly more modern maybe? Community competition? Just throwing ideas around

A few small gripes I have is
- some profile pictures that aren't completely 1:1 aspect ratio (square) are elongated circles which I'm not sure about others, do look quite odd.
- The user info on the left of posts feels a bit squished or is it just me?
- when zooming in on the page, it was a little different to how it is now, i'm not sure how to explain it, it feels more restricted now?

I don't expect anything immediately, y'all ain't miracle workers or anything and I know there maybe limitations etc but there are my thoughts nevertheless :)

Same here lol, i thought i had one of my browser extensions messing up the forum functions

Sorry about that. Little oversight on my part that resulted in users only having that permission if they do not have special privileges. Should be fixed now.

Wish that was a heads up email message. I mean they use to do for the bum collage so I need it is possible. I would have at least saved my images that I posted in Gallery. Really liked the ones I posted there
