My favorite is certainly not easy or pleasant to watch.  The Passion of the Christ.

If it's not pleasant to watch, why do you watch it?

Dan, there are plenty films that are not pleasant to watch that are successful. If someone had said Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan, two films that are anything but easy or pleasant to watch, would you have questioned it?

Yes. I don't see why I wouldn't ask for clarification about other movies.

With a storyline it most definitely is Disney's The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Without a storyline (and this is my most favourite film) is Baraka.

Blade runner, directors cut. It's just a little better than my second favourite movie "Ghost in the shell"(1995). I didn't like the sequel so much.

Wouldn't call it my favourite but just saw The Master Of Ballantrae the other day. That, is a 5 star film for plot! If anyone's seen it, who's the main character?

Looked like it was made around the time of the first Stars Wars movies but even then, it was pretty was made.
