Has anyone here watched the World Cup today Australia playing with Ghana? It was a tie 1 & 1. It's interesting to see Australia play the world cup for the 2nd time in 32 years last time being in 1974.

Can anyone guess why Australia has been out that much?Maybe a bad couch?

I hope the German team wins on Wednesday. Unfortunately I have to work and can not see the game.

Well do you have either a VCR or DVD player recorder?

Not the same, if it's anything like over here you are gonna find out the result before you watch the recoring no matter how hard you try not to.

Ummmm Australia actually played in the last World Cup in Germany where they were robbed by a controversial penalty in the final moments of the knockout stage, only to go down 1-0 to Italy (2006 Champions)

Why not in the WC that much? Soccer is not that big here. Probably ranks 4th after Rugby League (NRL), Australian Football (AFL), and Rugby Union, although Union is not that popular either unless it involves the National team -  Wallabies...And yes, we are a bit choosy when picking a couch, gotta be comfortable you know ;)

I wonder about the Kiwis,
each against Slovakia and Italy played to a remis out.
They do not play nice football, but they are with a lot of heart here.
The fighting spirit is certainly true.

There is always a chance and at least they have it better than North Korea. Ouch.

Well when it comes to the World Cup, I usually root for two teams, Italy and the USA. Then I cheer on a very big underdog. This year I went with North Korea. I may not like their country, but their soccer team is pretty organized and in my eyes has a lot of potential. Unfortunately for me, North Korea was already eliminated, and I fear the same is coming soon for the USA and Italy.

So what was with the French last game??? I missed it, but the news was not flattering. Seem to be playing fine tonight against South Africa.

There are rumours that England have a new coach.

It'll be picking them up from the stadium tomorrow to drop them off at the airport  :Butt Shake:

Unfortunatly I wasn't able to watch North Korea play with Portugal.I just hope that someone would post it like on youtube.
