Moonbase Alpha (Official NASA game)
« on: July 04, 2010, 10:55:37 pm »
I learned today that NASA made a game and it's going to be released in two days:

But.. But... I want it now! :)

Presumably it's about the massive explosion back in September 1999 which knocked the moon, including Moonbase Alpha and it's 311 inhabitants out of Earth's orbit?

Whoever thought nuclear waste would explode eh?

That game looks really good, and I bet it'll be awesome because it's from NASA.

I still can't believe CNN and Sky News didn't even mention it that day.

I only found out about it when I saw a documentary about it on TV a little while later.

Has anyone else played this?  The game can be downloaded on Steam if that helps anyone.

The whole idea of the game is to beat it as quickly as possible before time runs out (25 minutes).  You can also play with other folks online.  Anyone up for a game?

I have heard about this for a while,  This is in part due to fact I go to www.space.com often.  It is sad that cnn and media doesnt mention such.  I am avid space fan.  Then agian it kind of helps that my dad was a rocket scientist too lol
