If you had to listen to only one group...
« on: July 07, 2010, 04:29:52 am »
If you had to listen to only one group or artist for a month, what group or artist would you choose? Just to make this very serious, let's say you will be listening, at moderate to loud volume, a minimum of 10 hours per day (at work, in the car) whether you want to or not. You can listen more hours per day if you wish. You don't get to choose which songs -- all the songs by the group will be played.

My first thought was New Order. Coldplay would be awesome too.

XM satellite radio had a station that played nothing but Depeche Mode for a month, and that suited me fine.

But... I'm going with the Beatles. They recorded so much material, and it's all fun to listen to. The one frustration might be the audio range in some of the earlier material.

I'll choose album order. I hope that doesn't get monotonous.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra. That should provide some variety.  :2345
