Is someone here who like to go fishing?

I love fishing but I rarely do it. I'm a catch and release because I live by the motto "Fish are friends, not food" because I don't like seafood and I am a fish keeper. I haven't been fishing since 2008 when I was in Hawaii, though.

The last time when i was fishing was in 2009 in norway.
Its an absolut perfect country for fishing. Beautyful landscapes and nearly everywhere a little river or fjord.

And the important thing: unbelievable number of different typs of fish, which are much bigger than in germany.
I release the most fishes in catch too, but if you catch a fish in the deep of 200m they are so confused about the pressure difference,that they would die a short time later.
In this case its better to make a short end.

Your motto is from "finding nemo" isn´t it?

Thought I'd revive the conversation.  Any one into fishing?  Particularly river / lake fishing?  We're heading into summer in the US and I'm looking forward to getting out on a flat bottomed boat.
