2010 NFL Results, Expectations, & Discussions

With Pre-Season going on, who are you rooting for, what do you expect, and what do you predict will happen? I know there are some big fans in here, so let's hear it.

Let's just say I'm a HUGE Peyton & Co. fan, along with being a huge Bret Farve & Patriots fan :)

I also like Farve and the Patriots as wells the the Saints.
I still think Farve should have retired ten years ago, but as long as he is still playing well - good for him
The only thing that scares me about the Patriots is that they are entirely dependent on Brady's knees

I'm a big Colts fan, but as for expectations I'd say I'm expecting another 12 win season.  As for playoff expectations, you can't really predict in August who will even make it into the playoffs, didn't the Patriots go 12-4 a couple of seasons ago and yet still not make the playoffs?

Bengals and Bucs fans...good luck!  I think the Colts look pretty good, or maybe the Saints again although it is hard to repeat. Peyton Manning MVP. Brett Favre = last season hopefully!

i will be very upset if Manning wins again, maybe Drew Brees will have another great year.

Jen: Manning is the best, although you have to like Drew Brees, he seems so humble and down to earth....

Yeah the Colts certainly did not look good, but normally the Colts go either 1-3 or 0-4 in the preseason, so I guess they don't really care about the preseason either.

Pre-season the back ups play 60% + of the game...having said that good luck to Tampa, they have a good young coach and they aren't in that tough a division..

I would never do that if I was his head coach. The risk that he gets hurt far out weighs any benefit, the guy is a machine he doesn't need to play more then a half of any pre season game. Lucky for him he is so durable.

Manning played into the 3rd quarter for some reason.
Most teams will play their starters for a large chunk of the 3rd pre-season game. That game is the closest (in terms of team management) to a regular season game, because most will not play their starters the 4th preseason game so they can rest up for their season openers.

And with this win over the Rams, the Raiders have proven that they will not be going 0-16 this season.

Season is half over, have all the people who like the NFL here left? lol

Glad to see Oakland is at 4-4, they still have a chance to win the division.

Yeah where has that come from?! :345678 absolutely smashing the Broncos last week and basically doing the same with the Cowboys this week.

I'm a little worried about how the Eagles QB situation is going right now. It seems with Andy Reid right now that if Kolb or Vick make a mistake, they're out for the next game. This could go either of two ways, and I only see Kolb really leading the Eagles (I just see Vick as a roadblock to a young, new and fresh team). Either Kolb will get a lot out of having to improve so quickly, or he'll get fed up and leave, so I'd rather see the first one obviously. I would be very glad to see them reach the Playoffs, but not too downhearted if we don't. They're a new team and they're just finding there feet in a really tough NFC East.

I'm betting on a Patriots vs. Steelers AFC Title Clash if it can work out that way. That's all I got so far
