I used to play video games occasionally, then I got Skyrim and took an arrow to the knee.

This has resulted in much time being wasted slaying dragons.

With my job being so pervasive and demanding at times....I can almost never get to play during the week.  Then when the weekend arrives, there's usually house stuff I gotta do here and there...*sighs*.

I pretty much have to allocate some playing time in advance if I ever want to sit down and play out some (read: 5 so far) of the games I had bought and never got around to playing.

Seriously slacking in that regard....gotta do something about that!!

Whenever I have nothing else to do....I.E. homework is done, friends are working or busy....But i don't say this in a bad way. I love videogames(I justed started Skyrim and it is starting to consume my life!)

Fifa is the only game I can play. At the moment I don't play, but when I first got it I played sooooo much.

Is skyrim good? I know a few people whose social life has suffered thanks to that game.

Video games are able to lay claim to that small segment of my time that is not eaten away by books and chatting with friends.

I play so many video games it borders on addiction. Lol. I tend to play a couple of hours a day. Final fantasy 13-2 has taken over from skyrim and arkham city. Mass effect 3 and street fighter x tekken will be next. If I go out I always have my 3ds or psp with me to practice street fighter and tekken. I got to a couple of national u.k. Beet em up tournaments each year so I try to get a lot of practice in. I do try to balance things out with reading and training at tae kwon do though so that I dont take root infront of the xbox.

I used to play video games all the time, but recently I've found other interests (music and other stuff) every once in a while I will sit down and spend a few hours playing a game then go a few days where I won't :)

I used to be in a band and that took up a lot of time. As we got older, left uni and got jobs, we all sort of went our seperate ways. I still enjoy music,  and I dont go far out of the house without my iPod, but I think it has become less defining of my character. My tastes have diversified too, where once I would have defined myself as a punk, I now listen to different genres depending on my mood.

I also do table top war games (lord of the rings) but I think the thing with videogames is, like cinema, they are something you can just sort of chill out and loose yourself in. I enjoy creative activities and social activities but sometimes its nice to just absorb myself in a game. I think the other reason I enjoy it is it is something I can do while im watching a film or listening to a cd.
