For those of you who don't know, I have recently acquired a passion for filmmaking, and I am fairly certain at this point that it is what I want to do for a living. So I just wanted to take some time and tell you guys about a new experiment of mine. I've decided to form my own independent film group called "First Timer Productions." I know there are a lot of people out there who come up with their own company names for their short home movies, but this one is the real deal. I'm hoping that it will grow into something bigger once I get to college and beyond. I'm even looking into incorporating it, just so people know I'm serious. I call it "First Timer" because I think it says that the films I make will be unlike anything done in Hollywood before. I want to push creative boundaries and take necessary risks to deliver the types of movies my fans want to see. I know I make it sound all dramatic right now when it hasn't really taken off yet, but this is how I feel about it. So if you want to know more about the developments of this company, just shoot me a pm, and I'll give you my facebook name so that you can friend me and join the group. Or you can "like" the official facebook page I have set up. That way, you can see what I'm up to with my new movies and even watch them, as I will be posting them there. Should I create a new thread and post them here, too? You let me know!

Your comment "to deliver the types of movies my fans want to see." is interesting.  It almost seems like movie makers have to make movies that their fans don't know they want to see, especially if the movies are pushing the creative boundaries.

There is much talent out there yet to be discovered

By the way, have you ever thought about making a movie of Joseph Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book?
A movie that is true to the original story, as far as i know of there aren't any...
Would love to play Mowgli in it
