Lissy and I chatted today and she is off to Italy for a regional championship!  You should all know our Lissy.  Her interview is in the Dorm section.

This is what she had to say to me in summary and we wish her safety and success!

Quote
We are starting this eve at 19:00 Uhr in Frankfurt. We are going by plane to Naples.
There will be tomorrow and at Sunday an International Comparison of competition will take place with the teams Tae Kwan Do Team Italy, Spain, Israel and Germany.

The International Comparison of competition will take place with the teams Tae Kwan Do Team Italy, Spain, Israel and Germany.

It is in the disciplines ->

Poomse (Poomsae): full contact with (soft), helmet, safety vest, mouthguard, groin, hand protectors, forearm and shin guards and, depending on age group with chip protection. In the foreground are foot techniques to the body and head. Hand techniques to the head are due to increased risk of injury is not allowed, only punches to the body. Deep foot techniques (on the legs) are prohibited.

Teul: light contact with hand and foot protection. Foot techniques in all variations and combinations are combined with real boxing techniques, including techniques punch to the head.

and Hyeong: Without contact or only light contact, no protection. With few exceptions, potentially very dangerous (for example hand edge against the neck) are all regular Taekwondo techniques allowed. However, one should touch the opponent does not or only slightly here.

I for myself fight in the categories Poomse and Teul in weight class to 55 kg. My normal weight now is just 51,7 kg , that is 1,7 kg to heavy for the weight class to 50 kg.

Germany confronts the European Cup Second at first.
Italy won because of a fluke this place against Germany with an eighth point.
So revenge is called for, and thus there will certainly be exciting competitions.

Yeah, good luck Lisa! Is there a web-site or something, will it be shown on TV?

I hope she kicks some ass, in literal sense here.

I suppose the traditional actor's wishing of good luck - "break a leg" would also be literal here.

Not hers of course.
