Fictitious Bands
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:11:29 pm »
I`m sure we have all seen a movie, TV show or read a book which contained a fictitious band that you would love to see as a real band
Which fictitious bands are the ones you would love to see as a real band and in what movie, TV show or book did they appeared?

I suppose Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was kind of a fictitious band.  :786

I would have, but they kind of became a real band.

Bill Murray's band from Groundhog Day. Although the guitarist would have to lose the mullet.

Groundhog Day (1993) Phil's piano solo (HQ, clean version)

Definately the Muppets band with Animal on the tubs is the coolest imaginary band, espesially when you see some of the re-engineered vesions of them on You tube playing death metal and Beaker on vocals

of course i would love to see School of Rock as I am a huge fan of Tenacious D and Jack Black. I think seeing Donny's Band from euro trip would be funny too and maybe The Pinheads from a Back to the Future movie but I cant remember which one :p

Wow, a lot of good ones already mentioned. I'll have to add....

Steel Dragon from the movie Rock Star

It was made up of real life rock stars and the soundtrack has several really good songs on it.
