Latvia: Naked Brits arrested for riding wooden horse... in the freezing cold

-- these are just some of the people who make us proud to be British.

However, every now and then we hear about some of our countrymen doing
something so embarrassingly stupid we're almost tempted to put on a
fake French accent.

You know, like the group of four British tourists who've been arrested
in Latvia after stripping off in temperatures of -15°C and riding a
life-size wooden horse.

The geniuses -- who we're guessing had enjoyed a drink or two -- were
spotted on CCTV footage as they enjoyed a night out in Riga and felt
that despite the -15°C temperature they were decidedly overdressed.

While other people were wearing coats, hats and scarves, the four
chaps whipped off their kit and straddled a life-size wooden horse and
proceeded to pose for naked photos.

But they didn't realise they were putting on a show for a few more
people too. CCTV cameras captured their antics and the footage has
since been uploaded to YouTube where it's been seen more than 95,000
times.

Police quickly arrested the men - who were taken to a nearby station
to put their trousers back on - charged them with petty hooliganism
and fined them each £90. Keep reading to see the drunken buffoons in
