Ive been out of town and out of touch with the media for the past couple of weeks but i did see that TCU beat Wisconsin, and I had a feeling that the Rose Bowl game would result in that way.

I felt bad for Penn State, glad for TCU.  I didn't care about most of the games but watching Michigan get a good old fashioned butt kicking just never gets old.   :2345 :63424  :23456  :234567

Cam Newton and Auburn are looking very good at the half, although I'm hoping for a Ducks victory.

What sport are we talking about here?  I thought it was American Football but with a mention of the Ducks is it Hockey?

It is American Football, sorry for not clarifying that this is College Football.

It is US college football -- more or less the same rules as NFL football, but not quite.
 
BCS = "Bowl Championship Series" a highly controversial enterprise for making money for the BCS by pitting various university conference champions against each other in big bucks games with pointless outcomes.  BCS is currently under investigation and doesn't like it a bit.  The best outcome of the season was the Rose Bowl game when tiny Texas Christian University sent their "Horned Frogs" to Pasadena and humiliated the very vocal and supposedly mighty University of Wisconsin Badgers.  It looked very good on them.

"Ducks" is the generic name for all sports teams at the University of Oregon, also the name of the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League, which I think is what confused you.
