NAKED SHOPPING IN MADRID

Spanish clothing outlet Desigual welcomed in the new year with a very special offer. They promised to give a matching top and bottoms to the first 100 people who came to their store in Madrid.

The only problem was, as is often the case in such offers, terms and conditions applied. In order to qualify for the free clothing, shoppers had to turn up in their underwear. 

Using the slogan “arrive undressed, leave dressed”, shoppers were quick to brave the cold of winter with the chance of snapping up the exclusive deal, but those not aware of what was happening were somewhat surprised by the site of scantily clad men and women, waiting in line to be one of the 100 lucky winners.

This should be a Victorias Secret sale.

On a side note, a college campus near my home held a charity event last year where people would take off the clothes that they were wearing, along with any other clothes they brought along, and donate it to charity and the participate in a "naked run." I didn't see anyone that was fully naked but almost everyone that participated ran in only their underwear and shoes.

Sounds like a fun idea, and at least people gave it a go :) If I liked that store, I would've definitely taken the offer up
