Nicole Kidman: Even After Baby, She's Cool in the Buff

Actress Nicole Kidman, who grew up in Australia, has a much more relaxed attitude about being filmed in the nude. Even having a baby in 2008, hasn’t changed her mind, even if it has changed her body a bit.

“[My boobs aren't] very big, so they just became normal size [when I was pregnant],” Nicole says

“I loved it! I felt very womanly. When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling.”

While attitudes about nudity in the United States have always been uptight, it’s different in Australia, where the comfort level is much higher, and topless sunbathing on beaches is common.

“I don’t mind being naked,” Kidman, 43, says in the new Feb. 2011 issue of W magazine. “After having a baby, I’m not so sure now, but I enjoy not letting my issues get in the way of nudity.”

The slender 5’10″ Nicole, who has done nude scenes in films throughout her career, stays fit by running several miles a day.

When she pregnant, she opted for spinning classes to ease the pressure on her joints.

Kidman’s love of running came from her dad, a lifelong runner. “It’s what my dad taught us — he’s a marathon runner,” she says. “He’s 71 and goes on 10-mile runs.”

Kidman, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose (with husband Keith Urban) in July 2008, enjoyed being rounder-figured while pregnant.

Meanwhile, Kidman recently made headlines when–after years of denial–she confessed to having tried Botox.

“I’ve tried a lot of things, but aside from sports and good nutrition [to stay youthful-looking], most things don’t make a difference,” Nicole told Germany’s TV Movie magazine. “I have also tried Botox.”

But Kidman, who has been lampooned over the years for her shiny, immobile forehead and apparent injection-filled lips, insists she doesn’t use Botox anymore.

“I didn’t like how my face looked afterwards,” she says. “Now I don’t use it anymore – I can move my forehead again!”
