Well done Vettel. Definitely deserved it, had a masterful couple of drives this season. No-one came near his quality in qualifying throughout. Bring on next season.
On an extended IYNO break... for now.

Toddo I was impressed by petrovs ability to stay ahead of a double world champion in a far superior car. Alonso must have been thinking you crash out of every single race except this one???

Was a bit like Hulkenberg the week before

I'm glad a Red Bull driver won although if I'm honest I would have prefered to see Webber pull it off.  This certainly won't be Seb's last championship and it's the closest Mark has come to it.  Fernando did well talking Ferrari into making Massa move aside for him and getting himself back into the championship but ultimately, a screwed up qualifying finished it for him.  117 days until the next season starts isn't it?

I noticed at the end of the coverage there was a brief shot of fernando sitting somewhere quiet head in hands, being affectionatly comforted by a P.A. and ferarri people
The downside of the super confidence/massive ego is the hangover when it doesnt go right.

I imagine webber would have hit hard too. It's hard to believe that the team wont back the reigning champ from day one next year.

I'm hanging for next season to start again already
