Boy drives into canal with two naked girls (Western Aust, Australia!)

Perth, Feb 8 (IANS) Australian policemen were startled on learning that a car carrying a teenaged boy along with two naked girls plunged into canal.

The car plunged Monday night into a Port Geographe canal, near Busselton, after an apparent lark backfired, the Perth Now daily reported Tuesday.

All the three teens, including the 18-year-old male driver, managed to scramble out of the submerged vehicle about 10 p.m. before a resident called police on hearing their distressed screams, the report added.

The teenagers told police they were heading home to Donnybrook when they got lost and found themselves travelling down Hamelin Retreat towards the canal. But the driver did not stop at the dead-end and the car careered through a vacant section, down a retaining wall and into the water.

'When police got there, they found three naked teenagers on the front verge of a house and later found their car about 20ft underwater in the canal nearby,' acting senior sergeant Stuart Gerreyn told PerthNow.

'It seems they had been drinking and having a bit of a party on the beach when they decided to go skinny-dipping.'

`Whether they thought it was a bit of a laugh to drive home naked or what, we don't know?''

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Yabberup, will be charged by summons with driving with a blood alcohol reading in excess of 0.08.

Sen-Sgt Gerreyn said the four officers who responded to the call were ``still scratching their heads about what was going on''.

``It's one of those things that happens occasionally that makes you raise your eyebrows and wonder what amuses people and what people find funny," he said.

``But the bottom line is they could have quite easily have been trapped in the car and we could have been recovering three dead bodies.''

Yes, they were very lucky. I never ran off into that much water but it was still a big suprise. Good thing they were able to get out.

Sounds like you have your own interesting story to tell dmutah, but anyway, I laughed at the bit about the police still scratching their heads about what was going on.  Oh those Aussie kids.  Kudos on driving nude, but they deserve a good smack in the rear for drinking while at the controls of a motor vehicle.  At least they got to skinny dip, and then some.  Oh dear, common sense really isn't so common.

They were on their way to Donnybrook driving in the nude?  What a better way to be to attend Pacific Sun Friends, but a fuck of long drive.  ;-)

I think it's more likely they were on their way to the Darwin Awards mate.  At least they lived, hopefully they might use what they have in the way of brains a little more responsibly.  Ugh, it had to be some gassed up Aussie teens, didn't it?
