Tallahassee Naturally is a group of about 100 men and women dedicated to the advancement of family naturist recreation in the Big Bend.TN is an official Travel Club of the American Association for Nude Recreation, and an affiliate of The Naturist Society. TN leases a private lake every weekend and organizes trips to secluded wilderness areas. www.tallahasseenaturally.org

Suntan lake was created during the construction of the interstate like many others was meant to hold excess water in some of the lower and wetter areas so the road could be built up. In the process of digging the workers hit the Aquifer forcing them to leave in a hurry as water sprang forth It is believed that a sand bubble is now slowly pushing up and that is why the water is always an emeral blue green when many other lakes and rivers run black with tannin.

Lake is available every weekend from sun-up Friday to sun-down Sunday sometimes open on weekdays during Holidays or Events.
