Wild Swimming

Hi,

I thought this may be of interest to all the nature lovers here!
Below is a link to a website based in the UK which gives a great deal of information about swimming in the rural outdoors. This site also has many scenic photographs of various landscapes around the UK.

I'd love to try wild swimming, but only really if it was naked... Seems like they would be a very good fit...

Cool!  This is just about the only kind of swimming I do during the summer months --- went for a (very brief) dip yesterday --- bracing (magnificent understatement) but a bit too early yet.  Only in winter do I habitually stoop so low as to swim in pools.

  I tried to swim few days ago. Think I managed to swim for 10 m in every direction (less than 2 minutes of time in water)

There was a great program on wild swimming last night on bbc4. Worth a view. At the end the presenter, can't remember her name, goes skinny dipping which she loves. Although at times she does drawer comparisons between nudity and sex. A great program all the same.
