UEFA Champions League
« on: March 18, 2011, 04:33:37 pm »
Today, the games from the quarter-finals were defined:

Real Madrid x Tottenham
Chelsea x Manchester United
Barcelona x Shaktar Donetsk
Internazionale x Schalke 04

Who are you supporting?

Bayern had a great team this year, I still can't believe they lost this week to Internazionale and was eliminated...:(

I predict a Man Utd vs. Barcelona final. After that I cannot say. But these are great draws! Real Madrid vs. Tottenham should be very interesting, and so should Man Utd vs. Chelsea, and then a possible El Classico in the semi-finals :63424

Would love to see Schalke go through to the semi's, but realistically it's going to be Real, Barca and Inter - and Chelsea just edging it in the all-English tie I reckon.
On an extended IYNO break... for now.

Tottenham has chances against Real Madrid (although Benzema is in a great moment, I really like his football).

It'll be a great match!

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Schalke 04 are almost there!

But Manchester vs. Chelsea is still unpredictable! The second match will be awesome!

It's unbeliavable that Carlo Ancelloti chose Torrres and Anelka over Drogba. When he entered the game, Chelsea started to react, he even scored a goal, but it was too late. :(

Semifinals:

Manchester United x Schalke 04
Barcelona x Real Madrid

It's great to watch some veterans like Raul (Schalke 04) and Ryan Giggs (Manchester) still rocking!

Barcelona has just won UCL!

I did fancy Barca to win this but I didnt expect them to win as comfortably as they did. Once again they made Man U look like a bunch of school boys, they will be dreadfully embarassed and Im sure the British papers will be giving them some stick tomorrow.
I became aware of my destiny: to belong to the critical minority as opposed to the unquestioning majority.
