Rockbitch - the ultimate naked girl band!

I'm surprised that this band hasn't had a look-in on this forum yet.  Rockbitch were a large raucous English rock band which consisted of 8 girls and 2 guys, and they were around between 1996 - 2002.

During their sadly short-lived musical career, they shocked and wowed England and Europe alike for their brash and uncompromising presence and stage shows which featured nudity, pagan sex rituals, and hormone inducing music.  They even had special 'Gold Condom' and 'Gold Tickets' which they'd chuck into the audience and whoever caught them got a chance to get down and dirty with one of the girls after the show.

By 2002 however, they were forced to split up after being hounded out of many places by the local councils as well as the police.  Even good old liberal Amsterdam found them too shocking and decided to ban them.

They left behind a very bitter legacy which was fed up with mainstream society's double-standards of how women should be, and what the mainstream considers lawful and appropriate.  At least they didn't condone murder, rape, child abuse, bestiality, or drug abuse in their songs.  Many people wrote them off as a bunch of heavy metal floozies who were a disgrace to pagans and to womanhood, but the enchanting thing about them was that they didn't give a stuff until the writing was on the wall for them.

Dario i had posted a few of Rock Bitches videos on the bands that have performed naked thread. They were actually quite accomplished musicians by the time thier name changed to MT-TV.   The last i heard from the girls Joe and Amanda (bass & drums) were touring Europe with a jazz trio, and Babe had stopped playing guitar at all as she says if she cant play on stage nude she wont play at all, not even at home, and is concentrating on her artistic creations.

I can't imagine most "real nudists" (yes, quotation marks VERY NECESSARY) being cool with their stage antics and how they use nudity.

Personal Opinion though?  They're alright.

After they got banned from playing anywhere and then with Amanda and Jo getting into other projects and then Jo passing away, it being reported that Babe would not pick a guitar up unless playing live it looked as if we would see no more of the girls musicaly. Hopefully with the new site and at least someone being active in running their FB page we may see more from them musicaly, as they were very under rated as musicians. The song Diva for example is a testament to their talents.

I'm not trying to be a downer on this thread by any means but should this really be on a naturist forum? I realize that they did perform in the nude which is cool, but they went so far beyond just being nude. I checked out the website of theirs and there is a good bit of content on there that is quite pornographic. Again, not trying to be a downer. Just my thoughts.

Skimmed through a fan filming of one of their shows in Paris on Vimeo.  These gals were freagin MONSTER musicians and killer performers!  Coming from a guy who used to do a bit of touring as a musician, the amount of energy they are putting out is tough!!!

They also made great music.  As long as there is no posting of pictures here of the other activities they involved themselves in then it is perfectly appropriate for this forum and not outside TOS. Ive seen the site also and it does have explicit content along with their music videos there. If anyone is afraid they will turn to stone with an inadvertent glance at a naughty activity, many of their music video are on the likes of youtube and daily motion also.

I wasn't saying I found anything wrong with it. Just expressing some concerns I suppose. Didn't want anyone to get kicked off or have their topic removed due to posting a link to their site or anything like that. But it is nice to see a band who performed nude quite frequently and their stage shows were entertaining.
