I prefer physical books. I just can't read when it's on a screen.

once i had to read an old book for school that i could only reliably find online, in a terribly formatted project gutenberg file full of weird translations and typos. so i decided to shop online for a print version. i opened the book and it was the exact same text just copy-pasted

Same thing happened here except I couldn't get the paper copy on time so I just stuck with the project Gutenberg file
