Mine was written in late 1986 called "Marianne", when I was 15.  Whilst my other musician friends were writing about unrequited love and romance, I wrote this song about Marianne Bachmeir, a German woman who was sentenced six years in prison for shooting a serial killing paedophile in court.

"How ridiculous society is! Why be given a body if you have to shut it away like a rare, rare fiddle?"

the first song i ever worte was written as a message to my mum, it was not a nice one by the way. Unfortunatly i havent had the chance to sing it to her yet, but hopefully that time will come.
I became aware of my destiny: to belong to the critical minority as opposed to the unquestioning majority.
