In a nudist forum...sword fighting means just 1 thing  :happy
Or, at least, we call "sword fighting" that typical naked game between male kids, with their tools  :laughing

Well, those people with longer "reach" would have an unfair disadvantage unless in close quarters.

the length is not the only thing that matters, if you aren't able to use the weapon properly  :rotfl2:

Broadsword, dagger, or rapier, that is the question ????

I kind of want to learn how to use some European swords (broadswords mainly), but I don't really have much use for that skill.

I think it's a useful skill, even if the applications are rather limited :')

I doubt a sword would be very useful in a gunfight.
Unless you are close enough to melee him.

I'm not much of an athlete so competition is out, I could use it for acting, but I prefer really flashy fake sword fighting for that rather than any real technique. Though I suppose having a grasp on what really works could help with the flashy fake stuff that wouldn't work at all.

I really cant see any situation where knowing swordfighting is useful. Obviously doing it will improve your physical shape and balance and such but you can get that by practicing other skills that are actually useful outside of the sport

Me neither, my only real physical activities are walking places and HEMA :') I do think learning to fight is a useful skill though - even if whatever way you learn has very limited applications, you have the mindset and maybe reactions for it from then

Sure, if you carry a sword with you at all times
