One of my favorite artists is Don McLean; the artist who's most known for writing the ultra-famous song 'American Pie'. I have come to admire much of his work, and its great lyrical complexity. This is one from his first album Tapestry. This song "Magdalene Lane" is believed to be about his first years trying to sell his music in NYC.



I've come to learn that he is quite a despicable human being in real life; so I can't say I like him as a person, though I like his music.
