Luke Doucet - Ballad of Ian Curtis
Doucet wrote this song after seeing the film
Ian Curtis
.
He wrote the song in his head while running (training for a marathon) so the tempo is a running tempo.

I'm loving Tinie Tempah and Example right now. I really want to get both of their most recent albums; Disc-Overy, and Won't Go Quietly

He was in Sarah McLaughlin's band at one point. Don't know if he got to sing.
He is categorized as an indie and sometimes alt-country singer/songwriter.

Been listening to some albums by Avenged Sevenfold "City of Evil", Machine Head "Through the Ashes of Empires" and an anthology of Megadeth. Nice!

Thank you, Lissy! Beethoven, Vivaldi and Nirvana are among my very top favorites, and David Garrett brings a fresh, vibrant, new interpretation!

Tom Dice represented Belgium this year at the Eurovision Song Contest... and I always follow this (yeah, there is still people who like that...).
Anyway, I liked very much his song because it reminds me a lot to a friend... she plays guitar and actually the lyrics says a lot of things applicable to her. So I bought this song and I have it in my mp4. Since then, I heard some more songs from him.
It was not the typical song for a song contest... and probably he is not the typical singer either... maybe that's why his song liked everyone so much.
