The bath would be useless as a boat. It has a hole in the bottom.

Not if you hang on to the plug.

You'd have to weigh it down though.

It can be done but the wooden frame on the floor makes me headaches. I can't believe it lasts long. Maybe with some tropical wood like bankirai it can work for some time. Or you try to cover the frame with a  thin layer of transparent fiberglass. So you could close the leaks between wood and tub also.

An oil stain or varnish should seal it from the water and moisture of a wet area, while still keeping the nice timber look. Although you'd probably have to sand and re-coat it every 12 months or so. I'd also put some pads under the feet to keep it out of any water that might pool on the tiles.

Not if you stick the plug in from the bottom.  I wasn't really serious...

Very cool, also I would think very difficult to make.  There is another thread on here right now about a wooden hot tub and I have been toying with the idea of making one.  I have made fine furniture before (bookcases, an entertainment center, tables, and so forth) and have the tools.  The problem with this project is bending the wood.  I have never bent wood and do not have the equipment.

:432      Wow... Great shower and tub!!!   Danee I'll get right on that Tub!  Never built anything that detailed but I'm sure with some help and time I could build it and add that shower to it as well!!!    And I would absolutely share with all!!!
