Favourite childhood TV show
« on: September 19, 2011, 01:28:28 am »
That was my favourite:

This was created in France so I doubt many of you watched it but this was my favourite by far.

What was yours?

Wow, I enjoyed seeing those intros!  I liked Danger Mouse, and Hong Kong Phooey was one of my all-time faves:

Also I like Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, etc, ah, too many to mention!! Actually I still like watching them, they make me laugh! And I also like some of the real classics like Bagpuss, which was made nearby to where I live. It's so beautiful, simple and creative, it really warms you inside!  And, I loved Maid Marian and her Merry Men, it was so funny! :-)

Oh sweet lord, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the progression of this thread. I'm about to head out the door so I can't look for videos, but I really have to pop my head in and mention Animaniacs before I leave. I mean really. Who could not love Animaniacs? Haha I was obsessed. And there's always Pinky and the Brain as well as Freakazoid. Steven Spielberg made some really great cartoons in the 90s, amirite?

I had many; I watched to much TV as a kid. One of my favorites was "Johnny Quest". I kind of had a boy-crush on him… airplanes, jet packs, boats, scuba diving, helicopters…and he and Haji occasionally wore a speedo…lol

My favorite childhood shows were mostly Hanna-Barbera stuff as well as Pokemon and a few others.

Being a typical North American kid who would rush towards the TV set after school and on Saturday mornings....it was all about Transformers and G.I. Joe...:)

Heck, I even cried when Optimus Prime sacrificed himself within the mighty Transformer god Unicron...lol.

I feel like Hey Arnold got a bad rap sometimes because Arnold himself was such a nice, understanding guy that people thought he was boring. I disagree though. He just happened to be the straight-man in a town full of loons. That show was great :)

Agreed, it's on Netflix too! In my opinion it's stood the test of time.
