I was a Nickelodeon kid, so Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Space Cases, Kenan and Kel, first couple seasons of All That, and Doug.

As for the rest, Power Rangers, X-Men, Sailor Moon, The Slayers, and Ranma 1/2.

Me too, all those shows were great. I need to track down the Adventures of Pete and Pete DVD set. That was such a bizarre, surreal show and it didn't talk down to kids.

Also, Batman the Animated Series. I've been re-watching that show on Hub and it's even better watching it grown up.

lol Pete and Pete. I watched that show a little, but it reminded me of the other Nick shows I loved. Are You Afraid of the Dark and Legends of the Hidden Temple

I had a lot of favorites, especially old-school Nickelodeon, but this was by far the best:

That show was awesome. I also loved the NES game.

I watched it in French though and the theme is slightly different:

I like it better but it might be the nostalgia talking.

I also loved the NES game.
I was actually going to mention that. I played that game every day as a kid and it was one of my favorites out of my collection. I went back and played it somewhat recently, about six months or so, and to be critical, it was dreadful as far as a NES game goes. The controls make it almost unplayable when you compare it to other NES games. And yet, I still loved it. I felt like a kid. Funny how nostalgia does that. Even when something turns out to be something not so great, it's still amazing.

I also played it back. It was a few years ago but still, I was an adult when I tried it back. And I found it to still be quite excellent and manage two players better than most NES games. The control was pretty good to me.

The only criticism I have is that it's a very, very short game.

Still awesome.

I loved most of the Saturday morning cartoons and the shows (Saved By The Bell, etc.) on NBC. I used to watch the SNICK shows and the other Nickelodeon stuff... A lot of my kid show watching happened on Saturday for some reason :)

Pete and Pete was one of my favorites b/c  it was so surreal and had so many cool guest stars. Garfield, the Muppet Babies (I'm in love with the Muppets though!) and Pepper Ann were great too!

Does anyone remember what their favorite shows were as a kid? I certainly do! My favorites included, The Magic School Bus, Tiny Toons Adventures, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?, and Legends of the Hidden Temple.

What about you? What were your favorite shows growing up?

I always watched loony toons but I didn't really care for em.  Thanks to one episode about an ugly duckling, the Blue Danube Waltz gives me a twitch to this day.

My main shows were
Walker Texas Ranger
Hercules
Zena
Pirates of Dark Water
Power Rangers
Star Trek TNG

Every October I'd watch The Halloween Tree.
