The end scene of Hobo with a shotgun. No video for me to post. Epic movie, but if you think Braveheart is gory, then it ain't for you.

The opening montage of Up.

The ending of Toy Story 3.

Titanic ending.

Pixar has it's hold on me...Titanic...I am not so sure.

Counting TV shows there are a few that I have to force back tears:

Doctor Who

Family of Blood
The Canadian Space channel airs the reruns in order on week days, it just so happens this episode was shown on November 11:

Journeys End (when Donna "dies"):

Star Trek
TNG The Inner light:

DS9 The Visitor:

Battlestar Galactica
This part:

But this especially, in my opinion, the most tear jerky scene ever:

Ah, shit.  I didn't think of that.  Although it has been a few years since that episode aired, and she had been dying since the miniseries, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise.

I still think it make the scene lose impact if you see it before going through the whole series. Better leave people unspoiled.

And yes, it aired years ago but many of us watch our series all at once years after they aired. Many people here probably didn't see Battlestar Galactica yet (and they really ought to!).

When I was about ten I cried while watching the movie "Jack" with Robin Williams and a couple of years ago my eyes watered at the ending of the movie "Marley & Me" when Marley dies.I also have a dog so it was a very touching moment.

Gladiator always gets me, and Monsters Inc. Probably more too, but I can't think of them at the moment.

EDIT: I'm just glad neither of them are paired with Adagio for Strings. I think I'd implode into my own chest.

I remember crying to Braveheart and My Girl when i was kid! At the same age, when i was 12, i saw also The Silence of the Lambs, but when i look back, My Girl was far more traumatic for me.

Lately i saw Life as a House with Kevin Kline...

Two movies made giant involuntary tears role down my cheeks!

When I was a kid:  Godzilla 1981 - He dies at the end!  That made me so sad!!!!!

A few years ago:  Mary and Max - It's an adult claymation, hilarious, but even though you know what's coming... it will get you!
