I can see why. Reread the article it clearly says their uniforms were on the bank and their vehicles were nearby. They were ON duty. As much as people hate the police of any country and as much as everybody here wants nudism, police can't do their jobs nude.

If they had done that off duty then more than likely nothing would have happened at all.

Personally I feel its less about the fact that they were doing it on the job and more about the fact people could now see they were doing it while on the job.

A few years ago we were on the beach a few miles north of what is now home.  We were behind the first dune so we couldn't be seen from the water's edge so it was remote and private.

To get to the point we heard a car pull up so I stuck my head up to see if it was friends we were expecting, but were surprised to see it was two female police officers.  They appeared not to see me and walked back into the dunes WITH BEACH TOWELS OVER THEIR SHOULDERS.

With minutes they were naked and sunbaking about 20m from where we were.  They stayed for only about 40 minutes so I suspect this was their lunch break.

I feel sorry for the guys.  :undecided: They might have been on-duty, but still...
