Anyone here into Weird Al? I got into him a few years ago when i found some tapes of my dads. :like :laughing  :rotfl2: :laughcrying:
-
A man who should definitely be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. What era Al would you like? Glasses era, long hair era, or modern "Internet" era?
-
Weird Al is one of the best ever. He definitely ranks top 5 in my all time favorite musical artist.
-
Yup He is hilarious and this is my favorite parody

Weird Al was my first concert back in the mid 90s. Bad Hair Day had just come out and I've been a fan of his ever since. Seen him quite a bit of times too.
-
He's a brilliant parody artist. The problem is that his parodies are good enough to almost mistake them for the real thing. "Fat" is scarily close to sounding like the original, good job the intro is in a different key.
So much so that Don McLean has trouble sticking to the original version of American Pie. Not that it's a bad song. On the contrary, it's my favorite Weird Al song.
-
I love Weird Al. My favourite song by his is the Sparks influenced "Virus Alert".

Weird Al has been around longer than many of the people he has made fun of
-
He's the reason that comedy and parody music are some of my favorite genres.

That's required listening for everyone in this thread.

i misread this thread title as "Weird A.I." and i could not have been more delighted to find that i was wrong
-
I haven't known it until today. I listened to the videos some people bring here and I kind of like it but not a lot.
-
I got a chance to see a concert of his last July in NYC. He is awesome!
-
Yeah, he's awesome :afro:
