went to the WWI museum in Kansas City and in front of the reflecting pool is a grassy knoll and in that grassy knoll was a FIFA Fan Fest, so you had to walk through the FanFest to get to the museum.

yes I stayed a short while, I had to do a few things while in the area.

my one regret was I wish I had a different hat on, somebody would have recognized the symbol on my hat, its a sports fest,

What was the symbol?

I don't know what it is but I just have far less interest in pools now as an adult than I did as a kid. I guess I just don't get what you are actually supposed to do at a pool. Maybe this is one of those things that is better with friends? But then, why a regular pool and not a waterpark or beach?

I have no interest in sports, but because I live in Toronto I kind of have to engage with this at least marginally since we are hosting it this year. I know nothing about the matches themselves, just that it is plastered all over the city and that the city is busier than I have ever really seen it before on a sustained basis (cuz there have always been one-off events that draw massive crowds, like Toronto pride, but this is going on for weeks).

I've been going through my Steam library and finally knocking out some games I have had for ages but never touched.

In the past month, I have finished "Alba: A Wildlife Adventure", Lego Bricktales, Cat Cafe Manager, Half-Life 1, and Game Dev Tycoon.

Currently, I am rotating between Inscryption, Garden Story, Half-Life 2, Death's Door, and a few other games that I pick up every now and then to make a little more progress.
