"Well, it's nothing very special. Try to be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations."

"The Dude abides."

"Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturers of dairy products."

Music and Concerts / RIP Roy Colbert
« Last post by cc71 on Today at 12:42:11 am »
Only New Zealand members would have heard of him through his columns for the Listener and newspapers but Roy Colbert has sadly passed away at the age of 68 following a long illness.

He was a mentor for young bands that formed the "Dunedin Sound" scene.

I also knew Mr Colbert personally as he was a friend of my parents.

RIP Roy

I do have it comes and goes and usually don't pay too much attention to it only had serious one on knees, so my advices from a personal experiences are to use a soap with neutral PH during showers and avoid contact with chemicals and substances that may cause allergy.

For the FUN of it! / Re: Would you rather... (Naturist edition)

Clothed in a place I love. I'd rather be happy and dressed then nude and miserable.

Would you rather be rich but never be nude again, or poor but free to be nude wherever and whenever you want?

North America / Re: How Green Is a Nudist Vacation?
« Last post by Hamish on July 21, 2017, 06:35:30 pm »
Definitely on my days off work, I don't dress unless going out or having visitors. I can go days without putting on a stitch of clothing, so yes definitely less laundry and associated by-products. Sure going to a nude holiday uses fuels etc like for any other holiday but once you are there......

I've never heard of Aquitaine, but if a third of the French naturist community think it's the place to be, then I gotta check it out. Anyone been there??

Aquitaine is a region of France. It is in the south west part of the country and there are many naturist beaches and camping resorts there:

https://www.google.ie/maps/search/naturist,+France/@44.4834435,-2.2561993,8z/data=!3m1!4b1

I think that the 'green' aspect of some naturist resorts is something that should be used to promote their business. People in general appear to be trying to live more environmentally friendly or at least there is more awareness of the need to live more respectfully to the environment I think. By highlighting the naturist lifestyle as being less harmful to the environment, some people are more likely to consider trying it out for themselves.

Hello Danee,

Thanks!  I thought I posted up a hyper link in the original post.   Hmm.  Looks like I only did so in my mind!

On what base does this group organise activities and what kind of?
Natupop sounds interesting btw. Last year I had to work and didn't know if there were people of my age.
GenN is just a group of people with similar interests. It's not like a club or organization, so people organize their own activities like a beach day or camping weekend.

Unfortunately i'm not going to Natupop this year, bit of bad vacation planning :)

OK thanks for the clarification!
