I think they kinda screwed themselves with that. If Maroon 5 hadn't teased it, I don't think people would have cared that much.

Post by: ejniceguy on February 06, 2019, 06:01:19 pm: I work at a bar/restaurant, and they were showing the game, so I did get a chance to catch it. I almost wish I didn’t though. Terribly boring game, and definitely not worthy of the hype. The only reason I enjoyed the half time show at all is that I do enjoy Maroon 5’s music, but I could understand why people would be disappointed with it. The commercials, as per the last few Super Bowls, were also kinda lackluster. I personally felt like T-Mobile was the only advertiser that brought their A-game for it. All in all, I’m not shocked that many people felt like this was one of the worst Super Bowls ever.

Post by: chitownnudist on February 09, 2019, 07:47:08 pm: I fell asleep at some point between the half time and whenever they started the whole victory/trophy thing. I also don't get why there was excitement over someone taking there shirt off, you can see that at a construction site or pool.

None of that game was very interesting because the singers weren’t great and they didn’t play all of Sweet Victory (still salty about that).
