The song is easily the highlight of Plastic Beach, despite some nonsensical lyrics.

Not a Pink fan at all but the song was pretty good. Nate Ruess has a great voice so you really can't go wrong their. The video had nothing really special going out to make it stand out but it did follow the song quite well.

I love Foo Fighters but Everlong is one of my least favorite songs by them. I know it's strange cause EVERYONE likes that song. As with most of their videos, this one is great. They are very weird but at the same time very interesting to watch.

Post by: Density on October 13, 2015, 01:42:43 pm: I was a little skeptical about how the song would go since it started out so mellow, but as it picked up and the tones changed I had a nostalgia moment of Rocky Bolboa for some reason. Not to mention the song had a feel for the 70s type genre and also had that hippie aspect to it if you ask me. So with that in mind:

Song: 7/10
Vid: 2/10 (all just sunshine so it didn't have the dynamic aspect and didn't really give off any feelings to support the song I felt that it could have.)

Post by: Density on December 13, 2015, 01:18:02 am: Song: 9/10 (Despite the roughness of the song I like the way it started out and transitioned into the melodies. I felt as it got to the end the creator was getting a little too funky with the chopping but i like and it is different.)

Video: 10/10 (The video went really well and since the song has a robot type feel to it the creation of the characters and their roll in the song was well timed and sync'd.)
