I play guitar but I’m not very good so I tend to stick to power chords.

I play violin and guitar, and a wee bit of piano and flute

So I've played a fair few instruments in my time mainly: Violin, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Accordian, Djembe Drums, Glockenspiel and I also have a didgeridoo, not that i play it much :laughcrying:
However, the only instrument I've continued to play for the last few years is Piano.

i got back into basic piano recently, but sadly my recorder "skills" as a reluctant 10-year-old in school have left me entirely

Yes, I can play the acoustic guitar. I used to help out with local folk singers in Liverpool when I was much younger..

Tbh I don’t understand music and notes etc let alone how to make them over a bunch of strings

I've been playing guitar for around/almost 20 years, love the blues and classic rock.
Also been producing electronic music for a few years and have had some minor success.

I am learning guitar right now! It’s hard but practice will make perfect :)

i play sax and French horn. sax mostly for jazz and classical and brass covers of pop on horn

I play classical guitar, for about 3 years now and I got an electric one in June, and I'm still learning. It's pretty cool and I'm currently struggling with bends.
I have got the theory and handplay stuff down from classical so that's cool.

Guitarist, pianist, and banjo player here! But I’m mostly a neophyte with anything other than a guitar

After a short break of 15 years, I started last year again playing piano. Like it very much. But I haven't enough time for practicing as much as I want.

I took piano for awhile, but I don't have much natural talent with rhythm. Being told I would have better ways to use my time when I was asked not to rejoin choir got rid of most of my musical interest (in fairness I didn't put much effort in during my free time and have speech issues). I consider restarting it and maybe even repairing picking up my old half-sister's acoustic, but that's a hobby that would take a lot of commitment.

That's not the point for me - if someone has talent or not - the key fact (in my opinion) is, did you have fun while making music. Nothing else matters ;-)

I play a few instruments. I've got a five string banjo, soprano ukulele, concert ukulele, baritone ukulele, bass ukulele, and another five string that I converted into a four string Celtic tuning.
I don't practice often enough, though...
