Britain is gutted.

"I can't say enough good things about Andy's game. But I can play some tennis sometimes. Not many people were giving me much of a chance, but I knew if I could stay the course, I had a chance."

This sums up for me the spirit of the underdog. No-one gave Roddick any chance, especially not in England. But it turns out he silenced all his critics and gave the game of his life, and good on him. It's a shame, because I don't think he'll be able to beat Federer with the form he's on, but hey, stranger things happened today eh?

Yeah all bets are off on who's going to win the final and create a new record for number of Grand slam wins.....Federer is just too good. it was unfortunate that Rafael Nadal is injured as he really is the only one who can stop Federer. Great to see Andy Murray is doing so well at No.3 in the rankings. Good guy.
