Anyone here like the dry leaves boiled in water. I don't mind either tea or coffee although lately it has just been tea as the favourite hot beverage of choice. Do any of you lot have a personel favourite blend etc.
I'm trying not to be a stereotypical Brit who talks about tea here.
-
I did like tea but unfortunately I'm not allowed caffeine anymore so I don't get to enjoy the real stuff. I really miss Yorkshire Tea. I still drink the flavored stuff on occasion though, so long as there is no caffeine. Peppermint is my favorite
-
I tried, but I just hate tea.
-
I do like Earl Grey myself.
-
Not only dried leaves I also like tea made of herbs and bark like Lapacho or Mate
-
For the last year and a half I've been drinking nothing but red bush tea (Rooibos). A pot of about 4 or 5 mugs will last me a day. I let the tea stew all the time and heat it up in the microwave with some honey. I like it really dark. Although I've started to grow slightly bored of it even though I buy it mixed with several different flavours. I can't find a substitute. I did buy some Twinnings liquorice tea last time I was in the UK and really grew to enjoy the nutty flavour when the tea bags were left in for the same amount of time. Unfortunately I can't find liquorice tea in Germany. If it's used at all then it's part of some weird spicy tea normally involving cinnamon.
Some scientists once raised dart frog tadpoles in red bush tea to avoid fungal diseases during a study. If I stew normal herbal tea for a couple of days then it will end up with something growing in it, but not with red bush tea.
I also stay away from caffeine.
-
I drink sweetened Earl Grey all the time. Not much to say about it really, but whether hot or cold, I enjoy the taste.
Karla, what I sometimes do is toss some liquorice candy into my tea.
-
My mum had some Rose and Hibiscus tea once that you had to put actual dried flowers into a pot. She got it off her Japanese friend whilst I got sake.
-
Yes.
Orange Pekoe and Chamomile.

I love tea. I have recently quit drinking coffee and switched to tea. My favorite is Masala Chai. I make it the traditional way with fresh ground herbs and milk and honey with loose Assam tea. I also love jasmine, green tea, white tea, and good old fashioned black tea.
-
I love earl Grey
-
I've been drinking more loose teas lately. In the past, I've typically drunk Early Grey and English Breakfast (when I need a bit more of a caffeine jolt), but lately I've been trying more white teas.
-
I drink tea a lot, I bought my mum some rose tea for her birthday which is amazing but I had some Assam rose milk tea at a Chinese dumpling place recently and that would be my favourite tea I've ever had, the only downside is that it's very easy to drink it super quickly and then you have to get more. I'm also not sure how to make it so I'll have to keep going back there.
-
Mostly white tea. I know that for a lot of people it seems that it has no real flavour but I pretty enjoy that smoothness...

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

I've also recently got into Lapsang Souchong. It's smoked, so it has the most unique taste and aroma. It reminds me of going camping.
Genmaicha is quite nice too. It's green tea mixed with roasted rice.
As for the herbal varieties, I love roiboos, chamomile, mint, and this blend made from toasted almonds, which turns the water pink as it steeps.
-
A Sunday morning whitout tea is not a real Sunday morning.
I like lots of different kind of teas. Mostly from Mariage Fréres (a French tea maker).

Haha. Clasic.

Im with the Captain. Earl Grey hot!

Since last year, I have come to drink Tea a lot more than I used to. Mostly I consume Green and White teas because of their health benefits, and ease of in cup brewing at any strength. I also like Black tea, but have found that I have to brew it in a pot over another pot of boiling water for upwards of 15 minutes to maximise brewing strength. I also like to brew my black tea at a significant strength (three tablespoons of leaf to the pint). I always take my tea without any additives, unless necessary for making a tea drink.

Lol. I'm surprised I'm the first to make that reference on this thread.
-
I like Twinning's tea. The flavor I prefer is with Lemon or Mint.
-
I am tea crazy!!!!!!!!
Seriously, this is me on tea-----> :098 :2345 :23456 :234567 :63424 :43224

:65 English breakfast tea with milk, anyone?
-
Recently.. I've been liking Thai Milktea.. Its creamy and I drink around 1.5liters of that in a day.
-
I drink herbal tea every so often
-
At home I drink strawberry tea but when I'm out (and should I choose to drink tea) I'll have Earl Grey. Either way, I like my tea dark with milk and sugar.
-
I am a colossal tea drinker. At the moment I am on a green tea kick because I bought some new japanese tea cups last month. I have been drinking sencha and yang xi hui qang tea.
I always have a stock of different teas in. Currebtly I have the above two, English breakfast, lapsong sushong, darjeeling, red bush, assam, jasmine, chinese flower tea, moroccan cinnamon blend and matte in.
I always have a pot on the go. As soon as one has only a quarter left, I brew up for the next one. If I dont have a cuppa for around an hour I get the shakes...
-
Earl Grey is one of my favorite teas! I'm also a growing fan of Japanese green tea and am learning a lot about it still. My wonderful girlfriend bought me some really nice Machta for Christmas, as well as introduced me to a lovely tea shop nearby called "Teavana". It's such a great store!
-
Ooh yes. Machta is lovely. A bit stronger than sencha. Have you ever experienced Japanese tea ceremony?
-
I have not experienced a Japanese tea ceremony, though I think it would be quite a fun experience!
-
I drink tea everyday. Its a common thing in my house, we usually make it throughout the day so I'll drink it first then when its hot and later on when it cools down.
-
I have been drinking tea since I was about 7 or so. My favorite is Irish Breakfast. Similar to English Breakfast but better. Sorry British people.
-
I like the occasional Bushells tea with a bit of milk :azn: Not too often though...
-
Earl Grey Creme tea is 100% the best tea ever. Put just a tiny bit of sugar in it. :)
-
I like much Lipton's Earl Gray tea, but I drink it more in winter.
-
I go for a cup of PG Tips every morning

I have heard a low murmur of serious PG Tips followers. What is the draw?
-
I just tried some Darjeeling, my new favorite I think.
-
Love tea. Blacks like English breakfast, earl grey, indonisian gold, dragon pearls and much more. Green tea like, matcha, jasmine dragon pearl, and others, white like silver Yin zhen pearls, jasmine silver needle. And many other teas except sweet fruity teas.
Prefer loose leaf if I can
-
I love tea and infusions of fruit and herbs. On the Italian Alps there is a small shop that prepares excellent hand-crafted infusions. Orange-cinnamon, vanilla - raspberries, berries mix, orange - ginger, apple strudel ..
-
I love pretty much any time of tea. I always steep it for extra long.
The only things I don't like are the super sweet blends.
-
I prefer tea to coffee. Earl Gray is a nice standard for hot. I like various kinds of iced tea. Unsweet tea is my standard drink order.
-
My go-to is the Yamamotoyama genmai-cha, but I've bought a pack of loose leaf to use with my french press.
