Heard alot about both. Heard that cap has some swingers (witch I don't prefer) while valalta seems more unsexual. Cap seems bigger and I heard that in cap you are allowed to be naked at restaurants and stores witch you aren't in valalta.
All opinions are appreciated!!
What are your thoughts?

I know Cap d'Agde for the bad reputation of its swinger beach. I don't know Valalta at all, I don't know where it is... so I wouldn't give an opinion on it !! :confused

Generally speaking:
- Valalta is completely unsexual, a resort totally family oriented, big pools, waterparks, shows in the evening, discrete sandy beach but in a small part of the village because most of it has cement platforms and rocks on the sea;
- Cap d'agde has a wonderful sandy beach, 2.5 km, a big camping and a village with shops, restaurants, apartments. everywhere you can go nude, included markets. the beach is naturally splitted in 3 parts: 70% mixted, 20% couples or guys looking for sex, 10% gay people.
In the part with couples, you can see openly sexual acts, included group sex, directly on the beach, or in the dunes (even if it's forbidden). People knows, accepts it. In the evening, at the village, you can see many swinger clubs and couples with eccentric, sexy, clothes (leather, chains, handcuffs). Cap d'agde is unique, you can love it, or you can hate, it depends what kind of holiday you can look for. many families go there, so it's not true it's just for sex, but well, if you like an hot sexy fun and you desire living a real nudist holiday, well, I suggest cap d'agde. Single guys at Valalta could be bored, because restaurants, pubs and shows close at 11pm or so.

Thanks for the very well put together comment, personally I'd be fine with the sexual stuff om cap just bc you can be nude everywhere even in stores. But if I'm going I'm going with my Gf and I don't think she'd be comfortable with public group sex and stuff. Therefore I'm leaning towards valalta.
Hows the age diversity, we're both young 19 at the time,20 when we go there. We'd really like to meet alot of folks our own age, preferably also mixed gender. Are the grills and restaurants also chloting forced or can ju swing by nude and buy a meal?
Were gonna do a big road trip and hit up a bunch of nude beaches and stuff. Might make a thread about it here.

i've never heard of Vatalta before but Cap d'agde is on my to go list.I've heard about the Swinger lifestyle but i'm only interested in the nudist freedom and opportunities there.

In Valalta in most restaurants unfortunately you have to be dressed up for dinner. During the day and lunchtime at most restaurant/bar terrace however people aren't dressed but of course sitting on their towels.
There are many ages present. I very like the animation activities as they are a good way to get to know other people, eg. aqua aerobics, table tennis competition, beach volleyball, minigolf, etc...

20 years? not so many guys in agde, more up from 25.
teens around 15-20 are more into family orientated resorts like montalivet or valalta.

I went this summer for three days, unfortunately because I wish it was longer.
Valalta is very family orientated. I would definitely take kids there if I had some. I only saw one cock ring there on some old couple that looked completely out of place among the nude families. I bet they felt like the weird ones there since it was so full of families (like mom & dads with kids and some grandparents)
I personally only met one couple in their 20s but since everyone is naked I couldn't tell if I was looking at a teenager or adult. But since it is full of families you can probably tell where the teens are, especially since the teen girls were just topless.
When I went to the restaurant I ate there completely naked. Everyone else expect the staff were naked. Don't know about the dinner but would suck if it is required.
Only places where you have to wear clothes are the reception area (the check in/check out place) and the little super market they have. I'm guessing it is because they have cameras to check robberies/thefts but since people are naked and privacy is respected in Europe they put this rule in place.
Go for it and take her to Valalta. It is lovely, not that expensive, large, and family friendly. A perfect safe way to experience a nudist resort. This is the way that I imagine nudism would be along families. The only bad part is the beaches rocky but

i know all of them.
the beach in agde is perfect, but i enjoyed more the other campinggrounds. it was more easy to find boys and girls in my age in valalta and montalivet. and you have a teens/kids animation. in both camps
at the pool or at the beach you have to be nude all the time.

Cap tends to have more of a swinger vibe for sure but also plenty of areas that are family friendly. Valalta is more of a traditional nudist area without the swinger side. Both are amazing!

only been to Cap, I missed out on the Valalta trip that a bunch of guys from here went on last summer. As far Cap, it is quite unique but also very big. If you keep an open mind, and not be offended by things, it can be fun. I stayed at the camp ground which is mostly naturists and families. I also explored the night life in the village which is very much not naturist, no one outside the camping area stays nude after dark.
Met some cool people there, one of which has been going to cap every summer since he was born... def a great tour guide!

So I checked it out on a map and such. The camp ground is naturist, but what about the rest of town? I don't think I understand cap really. Where are the nude stores etc?

The entire village has just 1 entrance with a bar and you go inside by car with a card, or by pedestrian access. In front of you you have the beach and sea, to the left the Rene Oltra Camping, to the right the big town with apartments, 3 hotel, shops, markets, restaurants....
You can go around everywhere naked shops and market too.
The only other ways to go inside the village are through the textile and free beach from the left side (plage de marseillan), or, of course by boat. If you do that, you have access to the town, but not the camping, because at every gate at the beach you have to show to the guards a bracelet (given when you have the check in at the camping).
Let me know if you need other informations.

The two places are very different with their own charms.
Valalta has a beautiful coastline, and is amazing for swimming with the high salt levels in the Adriatic. The slides and moored pontoons are fun, and the swimming pool complex is very nice. It is very family orientated, but the restaurant food can be laughably bad, and it can be difficult getting served at peak times. It attracts a lot of Germans and Austrians due to its geographical proximity.
Cap d'Agde is definitely more swinger orientated, but it has a nice beach where one can have a pleasant time with the added bonus of vibrant nightlife. Regarding food options, there is more variety but quality can vary hugely.

I've been to cap, the beach is amazing, such a great experience to be nude with 1000s of other people. I stayed in a cabin in campground and it was great.
I found it a great nudist experience, while I was there, the other activities with exhibitionism that happen at cap, you would only find if you go looking for them.
I'm hoping to get back to Cap and valalta in summer 2020 - be great to hear of any other members who are planning trips!

So, you can find just a couple who plays, or fuck, or a single woman jerking off o sucking more guys, or 2 couples changing partners....well, every possible combination :happy
Cap d'agde has always been in this way, people knows and nobody complains about it, rather this fun is a big inducement to the tourism there; but not the only one. As I wrote in another post, there are many families, every age, and a pure naturism.

That isn't true.
The beach of Valalta is very family friendly, there is no public sex there. So nothing to worry about.
That description (comparison with cap d agde) is true for another beach, a rocky coast about 5 km away from Valalta.

When I went to Valalta, which was all day (not night though) for three days a few years ago, it was very family friendly literally full of families and not a single sexual thing going on. The only thing bad that I saw was a cockring on a creepy looking man that was part of a couple. Maybe the sign they had saying 'no photographs' infront of the water slide, but Valalta is was not sexual at all in my personal experience.

Haven't been to Valalta itself, but have been to Rovinj. That's by far the most relaxed and clothing-optional place I've been to - people of all ages were swimming naked at a lot of places in the area.

Valalta is a family camp with kids running around everywhere and there is definitely no any sexual activity going on in the camp. They have strict rules against it and the camp staff would expel everyone not following them.
There is a beach near Rovinj called Punta Križa where stuff like this is going on, but I have never been there, it is not even close to the camp or anyhow related to the camp.
