Title: Music Streaming Services
Post by: Rafa on January 12, 2016, 05:02:32 pm
What are your thoughts on services like Deezer, Spotify, Pandora and others as such? I personally use Spotify because it has most of the genres and bands I listen to. I know it doesn't pay the artists that much, but it's still better than pirating :/

I use Deezer now.

I used to be an Rdio user, but had to find an alternative after Pandora bought them.

So far I am happy with Deezer, although I do miss the Rdio interface... just seemed a much better layout.

I'm a Spotify user. They have a wide variety of music and in my opinion the best radio.  :like

Pandora is ok. iHeartradio has too much going on for me. Spotify is good and I only use the non-paid version. If you have a Samsung phone or tablet, Milk music is good. Its made by Slacker radio for Samsung. Amazon Prime music is ok.

None, 'cause they don't really cater to my personal tastes all that well...though "Digitally Imported (http://www.di.fm/)" might scratch that itch down the line.

I like how the new trend is user made playlists on Spotify and Google music. I can handle the similar artist radio for only so much, but it can get repetitive.

Robots can only do so much, only human can make a kick ass  playlist that hangs in the next song.

Spotify is alright, I sometimes use it.  I've only used Deezer once as a last resort.  Most of the streaming services don't do much for me largely because my musical tastes are very niche market.
