Title: Naturistenbund Frankenland
Post by: NudieDaniel on July 12, 2016, 02:39:03 am
Most of our members, their children and grandchildren or visitors call our ground a "little paradise" a special feeling you have when you are here, no words describe the atmosphere of nature and the people that fill this place with their positive energy to make this place what it is. Our members have built up this place from a field with no running water and electricity to a naturism camping site with nearly all amenities that you wish for as a camper.

We offer an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor shower (heated with wood) with regulary water check ups by the public authority.

On saturday afternoon we open our sauna with a relaxing room.

You feel like sportive activity? We have several petanque areas, a beach volley and tennis court, a trampoline ping pong tables, billiard and tabletop football and enough green gras for old and young to kick a ball.

We also offer a washing machine with tumble dryer, iron and iron board.

One guest caravan and a whole kids area with monkey bars, sandpit and a kids playshed.

In the high season we even have a member who organizes fresh bread rolls for breakfast.

Our registered society "Naturistenbund Frankenland e.V." is being named by women and men who founded the society in the 1960's. They could have not found any better name, as our enclosed camping site is situated in the middle of fields, forest and vineyards. In walking distance (both directions) there are little villages with winemaking culture. A unique enjoyable way to stroll up and down through the picturesque vineyards from where you can actually see the grapes ripen. In case you feel hungry feel free to have  a picnic on your way between the vine or visit one of the "Heckenwirtschaften" how we call these little simple restaurants in a vineyard. There you are being served home produced wine, spirits and of course regional beer. As we franconian people love to eat hearty food with an excellent glas of wine there is home cooked franconian food to be served in all of these restaurants.

If you prefer to go out for dinner in the City of Würzburg (some call it Munich's little sister) you have  a 20mins drive by car.

Würzburg has beautiful sightseeings. Just to name a few must sees:

The UNESCO world heritage site: The "Castle above all castles - the Residence Palace"  is one of

Europe's most renowed baroque castles.

The Fortress Marienberg and the Pilgrimage Church "Käppele" are the most dominating features of the city of Würzburg.

Both are excellently seen from the "Alten Mainbrücke" an old bridge over the river Main directly off the pedestrian zone, close to Dom St.Kilian. Directly on the bridge you find one of the best restaurants (Alte  Mainmühle) in the city. Just the right place to stop off enjoy a great meal or unique receipe sausages in a breadroll, great wine and amazing view and atmosphere.
