Title: Nude jogger caught and let off with warning
Post by: TheSeane on October 18, 2009, 05:49:33 pm
So I heard this on the radio a few weeks back and have been meaning to post this.

Apparently someone called the police on a nude jogger in the area.  What's amazing is his reason for jogging nude.  He said that clothing restricted his skins ability to breathe and therefor was much more comfortable jogging without any clothes.  Makes sense!  More skin means more oxygen!  I'm just amazed that they let him off with just a warning for jogging nude in a public park.  Wow!

As someone who has hiked & climbed nude in both hot & cold conditions, I understand what he meant.

Outdoor clothing is often marketed as being "breathable". This means it contains lots of microscopic holes that are larger than water vapour molecules, but smaller than a drop of liquid water. As a result they're water & wind proof, but sweat can evaporate.

Nudity is the most breathable clothing imaginable!

Jogging naked in a public park? Not a great idea if I'm honest. Suprised he got away with a warning really.

Where did this happen? This man is extremely lucky if it happened in the US.
