I’ve recently finished watching neon genesis evangelion. Its a pretty weird anime, I wouldnt recommend it if you’re not in the mood for something deep and existential haha! But what shows have you all watched and would recommend? I’m looking for something new to watch at the moment so any recommendations would be appreciated :)

I've been binge watching Misfits on Netflix. I've gotta say, the first three seasons were amazing. I'm in the middle of Season 4, and honestly it's getting kind of boring.
Sex Education (also on Netflix) is a great one as well. Excited for Season 3, it comes out next Friday.
Season 6 of Lucifer comes out this Friday too. Really hyped.

Kamen Rider: Zero-One is probably my favorite thing I've seen this year. I also greatly enjoyed Godzilla Singular Point.

my favorite show made this millennium is Hakumei and Mikochi, which is just lovely to watch. It's vaguely slice-of-life, and it's about these two women who live in a world where animals can all talk and are part of society and also humans are like 9cm tall. It's incredibly chill and warm and fun, and the visuals are very appropriately vibrant because the world they live in is giant and colourful

My favorite one is probably the first season of True Detective. It's just gorgeous all around. I've also recently finished Killing Eve, and god it was good! I had a bit of a hard time getting into it, but once you're hooked you're bound to just binge watch it haha. If you love detective and spy shows, good acting and humor it's definitely worth watching.

update: After many situations where I've spent up to half an hour scrolling on Netflix stuck for choice, I decided to give Breaking Bad a go. I'm on the second episode of season 4 now and now I think it has become one of my favourite shows I've watched so far.

Yes I know he had some big disagreements with the show runner too and left. He still could have returned for the 50th anniversary but hey whatever. He had his reasons and I guess the bbc did too

eccleston is an actor I respect a ton and he was absolutely able to make his season of doctor who the best modern who in my opinion even thru the script
