That is a cool movie. Have you seen the first one made back in 1982? - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084827 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084827)
Now you see me
Philomena. Not quite what I expected but not bad either. On a side note, I recommend seeing Wadja if you like movies about other cultures filmed from their perspective. In this case it's a Saudi Arabian story filmed from a Saudi's perspective.
I saw 300: Rise of an Empire. It was better than I thought and visually gorgeous. Although both 300 films really make me realize that I need to work out more. lol
I went to see captain america 2 the other day. That was stupid.
The scarlet witch/quicksilver bit? Yeah cant wait to see them in days of future past. I wonder why they set up thanos, the collector and the infinity jewels and then went for age of ultron and dofp instead. I hope it's all a big misdirection and they haven't just cjanged their minds halfway through the writing process or are going to make us wait for another six films to see a stoty we'd rather see anyway.
Oh! I didn't notice that it was a different quicksilver. but I did think I hadn't heard mention of wanda maximof in dafp. So I wonder what story they are setting up then?
The licencing issues are daft. it would be ace to see wolverine and spiderman in an avengers film but it's unlikely I guess
it was spider men rise of electron and this film ist awesome.
story, action, love, dead and amazing sound effects :e2w :e4444

Did you bootleg Amazing Spider-Man 2? Because that's not even out for another couple weeks...
I went to see spuderman 2 on saturday. I enjoyed the film but I think they chould have done with two fewer vilians. Electros story was ripped off from catwoman, the green goblin story missed it's emotiobal beat because there was no establishment of a close relationship between the two (I haven't seen you for ten years but I suddenly feel betrayed and abandoned?) And rhino was pointless. They took the camp melodrama out of the villains and what was left was two spoiled bratts and a mech for some reason. Also if was rhino I'd have shot spidey and the kid during their ten minute conversation infront of the fully armed tank.
I've just been to see The Amazing Spiderman 2. I.thought it was pretty good

Right now, I'm watching Alien for the first time.
I finally got around to seeing American Psycho. I liked it lot but I'm still confused about the ending
I watched X-Men: First Class yesterday.
Needed more Jennifer Lawrence.
I watched X-Men: First Class yesterday.

That movie needed a better writer that actually paid attention to the movies it's attempting to be a prequel to. That's my only problem with the upcoming "Days of Future Past" movie...it keeps that bastard movie in.

Agreed. I've been having so much trouble trying to figure out the direction of the more recent films. Are they trying to tie in the previous films or are they rebooting the franchise? That's why I'm on the fence about seeing this new one.
Vanilla Sky, wasn't really my kind of movie after all, though the last 30 minutes were pretty interesting.
I'll put it on my list for movies to watch :)Vanilla Sky, wasn't really my kind of movie after all, though the last 30 minutes were pretty interesting.
Watch the original 'Open Your Eyes' far better IMO.

@DutchNudist21Storywise it was quite disappointing.
Was it good?
What you'd expect thenExactly that
Last movie I saw was gravity. Love the cinematography in it.gravity was a good movie in the way it was made and filmed , but to be honest i was a little bored at certain points.
Oldboy, great movie but i think i should watch Korean version OldeuboiOldboy was a good movie indeed :) , bought it on dvd ^^

I'm watching Cool Runnings right now. Before that, it was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.haha , one of the innocent films of harry potter :) , i really liked how the harry potter movies got darker after each movie :D
Starwars 3
"The Equalizer" amazing movie, definitely recommend it.
You've seen it already?! What made it a disappointment? I'm super excited for it but super skeptical at the same time. I'm going on Tuesday.
... There can only be one.

Yeah, it opened in Norway 10 December.
To avoid any spoilers I will not tell what disappointed me until after you have seen the film

Robocop 3. Yikes.
Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy.
I found it to be mediocre at best with pretty CGI. :-/

I thought it was one of the better ones - the superhero format is really starting to become very tired
That Awkward Moment - pretty good actually - basically a romcom for guys as well as girls
Guardians of the Galaxy. (Yes, I'm just now watching it.)The movie looks awesome :) .

Saw 40 year old virgin for the first time last night.
It follows
The last movie I watched was "Act Naturally". It's a good movie, not a great movie, but it is funny. I was surprised that the acting was actually fairly decent, the camera work was well done, but my friend and I kept asking questions that never got answered, or were not answered well, lol. Still, I enjoyed it and laughed my butt off.
Rurouni Kenshin : Tokyo Inferno
It's the second movie of the Kenshin live-action trilogy and it is a really good trilogy.
Kenshin is my favourite anime of all time and I just rencently discovered there are live action movies. It is much more "realistic" in that format but it fits the medium better. The actors are amazing too and very well cast.

Yeah great movie and I'm fan :like
I also love the Rurouni Kenshin anime. I have not seen the live action movies, but I may have to check them out now!!
Avengers: Age of Ultron!!!!!
I'm so far behind on Marvel movies. I still need to see Iron Man 3 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier before I can go see Age of Ultron. I've been told I should also watch some of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
S.H.E.I.L.D. is a stand alone tv series that is used to advertise Marvel's movies by tying in characters from the series to the movies & visa versa. They are trying to get the series fan base to go see the movies & the movies fan base to watch the series. It's a plan to make money two different ways for Disney (owner of Marvel).
Big Hero 6.

Ant-Man! It's one of my new top Marvel Cinematic Universe movies FOR SURE. My wife and absolutely loved it.
Lone Ranger. It's alright
Saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I recommend seeing it. That's all I will say.
Jurassic World. Like 50 times. I've started nitpicking the film.
The Revenant
oh boy it was goood
I watched the new star wars movie with my family yesterday. I regret watching the movie. It wasn't but it was decent.

I watched the 70 mm one ! What's more I was in the front rank, with no annoying people around me... Amazing sensation  What I liked most was the dialogs !
Deadpool. It was awesome
Independence Day: Resurgence.
This was an alright film. Lots of over-the-top CGI sequences as I expected. Some problems I did have was with the characters leading this vehicle. I only seemed to care about the characters that returned from the 1996 film and the new leads did nothing for me. Another was the explanation of the line of succession of the US presidency. I won't give away much beyond that, but there was something unrealistic about this particular thing.
Its was on July 3rd in Green River. Went to see Independence Day during the afternoon. We was the only ones in to see that showing. :laughing

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in 3D. We was the only ones in the theater.
I saw Moana today. It was fun! Made me yearn for a life in an island paradise.
Hosted Women's Naked Movie Night this past Monday and Tuesday. We watched "20th Century Women" and "Hidden Figures." The first isn't so good. The actors are great, but the story is odd and never really connects. "Hidden Figures" is my #1 movie of 2016. I have seen it four times now. Great story, fantastic music, excellent performances, and very timely.
In case anyone is interested... My TOP FIVE Movies of 2016:
1. "Hidden Figures"
2. "Deadpool"
3. "La La Land"
4. "Moonlight"
5. "Nocturnal Animals"
Foreign Film: "A Man Called Ove" (Sweden, naturally)
Documentary: (tie) "Tickled," "Weiner"
[ha! Tickled, Weiner. It's actually two different documentaries.]
Worst movie of the year: Warren Beatty’s "Rules Don’t Apply"
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

Nice! This movie takes me back. Although I liked more TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze. Still a great (And way better than the Michael Bays' versions) movie. :azn:
Logan.
This film was a great send-off for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart in their respective roles as Logan/Wolverine and Charles Xavier. It didn't have the over-the-top special effects from previous X-Men installments and that was a good thing. My hope now for future X-Men films follows the character of Laura/X-23. Dafne Keen was exceptional in her big screen debut.
If you haven't seen Logan yet, see it. I highly recommend it.
Not quite what the post is about. But last movie I saw in the cinema was oceans eleven. I'm so old!! Lol
Just saw the sixth sense for the first time with my housemates. We are all theology students so it was a little crazy to see a movie that isnt too far off of what we agree to be truth. Also that ending.... just omg.
The latest Star Wars, Rogue One :cheesy: It was so good that I had tears of emotion :azn:Yes he was good :) , can't wait till the Han Solo Star Wars story movie  .
I just watched The Lego Batman movie.
Bawled my eyes out watching A Dogs Purpose. Oh the tears were flowing
I saw Wonder Woman on Friday, best movie in the DCEU by far! It had the optimistic, exciting, hopeful heroism that had been lacking in the DCEU so far, and it was great finally seeing this amazing heroine kick ass on the big screen!Indeed. It was incredible. And while I was initially skeptical of moving the setting to WWI time and missing the chance to place one DC character in their original time frame more or less, from a story standpoint it make perfect sense.

Blade Runner 2049, a little jewel of Sci-fi :cheesy:

Konrad is a perfect instant child "born" in a factory at age 8. Due to a mistake in the factory's computer, Konrad is delivered to Bertie Bartolotti, a woman whose life and appearance are in a constant state of disarray. Konrad arrives looking like a gremlin, but when Bertie pours a nutrient solution over his head he changes into a fully-developed, perfect 8-year-old child. The factory realizes a mistake was made, and recalls Konrad, but he does not want to leave his new family and friends.

I just saw Ready Player One and it was so much fun! A lot different from the book but they're both really good in their own ways. Spielberg did an amazing job bringing the OASIS to life. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves action movies, video games, virtual reality, anime, Spielberg, and/or everything 80s.

Last movie I saw was 'Love, Simon'. It's a great coming out movie with a bit of comedy and drama in it! I would recommend it to anyone!:agree
The newest Avenger movie.. tbh I was not impressed.same here !
I just finished Annihilation. I really liked its amazing visuals and the story is very thought provoking. I love when something isn't fully explained, it allows you to fill in the gaps yourself. I'm also a fan of Natalie Portman and Alex Garland.Really want to see that one as well, too bad its not in cinemas though..

I may have enjoyed more than them
The only thing I really wish is that it had been Elton John singing. For sure I'd recommend watching it.

After seeing Spider-Man: Far From Home, I'm concerned about what is going to happen if Sony and Disney don't reach an agreement to let Spider-Man keep being in the MCU.I'm sure you've heard by now but they finally did. Supposedly Tom Holland himself had a large hand in it.

a lazy school assignment made me watch any movie about space the other day, so i deliberately sought out something terrible and came out with Space Dogs: Adventure to the Moon. a genuine masterpiece
Just watched the Downton Abbey Movie again. Love it so much!
The film that i have watched and enjoyed the most recently is Dolomite feat Eddie Murphy!
Watched the Hamilton movie release of the play on Disney+ the other night. It was amazing! As theatre is my career of choice, and I'm not able to actually do any work in theatre right now due to the pandemic, watching Hamilton last night was a very emotional experience for me. It's such a well produced show on top of being a cultural phenomenon.

@Nudielad 1985 or 2015?
I am currently watching the Breaking Bad movie
I think I may have to watch Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country after learning of the death of Christopher Plumber who played one of my favourite Star Trek bad guys General Chang 30 years ago.Actually rewatched it last week, as part of a rewatch of all original Kirk movies except 1 and 5. Had no idea Chang's actor was dead though. Or that he was still alive a while ago, for that matter.

Interstellar. Absolutely mind blowing. Another amazing film by gigachad Nolan
Last film I saw was Eternals, it felt a bit... Busy? Like there was a lot going on all the time so nothing really felt impactful.Exactly! Half of the cast could be removed from the film entirely and nothing would've changed. When the Indian guy just said "hey I agree that the bad guy is bad but he's too strong so bai" I couldn't help but laugh.
Dune it was a great movie can't wait for the sequel
I just saw Ghostbusters Afterlife last night
Just watched Venom: Let There Be Carnage, man that was a bloody disappointing film, especially after how great the first Venom film was...i'm a man of simple pleasures: i hear the words "carnage" and "bloody" in the same sentence, i chuckle

I liked it but felt like it was dragging on for a bit (don't think Chalamet was necessary 💀). They weren't really subtle with relating it to our current state, so that's probably why it's getting mixed reviews (personally, liked that about it). Loved the credits scene and post credits. lol
Christmas day tv was absolutely garbage so I watched home alone and home alone 2 lost in new York.
A Swedish christmas movie!
Schindlers list...
Loved it, it is over 3 hours long movie whole in black & white but it is definitely worth seeing. And Liam Neeson was perfect for the role...

Vilken?
Watched Encanto recently, a movie with great messages, and likeable characters, pacing feels little off at times, and the ending feels a little rushed, but overall, quite an enjoyable movie.
Star Trek X :D
Star Trek X :D
X as in nemesis?
My sister recommended The King's Man but I hadn't seen the other Kingsman movies so I started at the beginning and watched Kingsman.
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Interactive film. Pretty rad 😜Watched this one with my gf earlier this year; it was pretty interesting.
Top Gun: Maverick.
Afterwards, I tried the manoeuvres in War Thunder.
Last weekend I took my dinosaur obsessed son to see Jurassic World: Dominion and we both thought it was great. I don't know why it's being reviewed as the worst of the franchise, it's a fun movie. None of the sequels are great movies or anywhere near as amazing as the original Jurassic Park but Dominion was far better than Fallen Kingdom and I'd say probably better than most of the other sequels too.
Yesterday, we took the kids to see Lightyear and that was a good movie too. Fun space action and really funny with great callbacks to the other Toy Story movies. It's a good family movie

Ah well.. wanted to watch Lightyear... but its banned in my country unfortunately...

Well... they never released an official statement, but doesn't take much to guess that it is probably cause of the LGBTQ stuff

What is there like homophobic stuff in there or something? I stay away from marvel regardless out of principle so im completely out of the loop
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.it's no walk hard, but a treasure nonetheless
The film was what it needed to be. A parody of biopics. And who better to parody rock biopics than Weird Al? Entertaining as well. Daniel Radcliffe delivered the role of a lifetime. May he never be remembered for ANY other role he has or ever will do!
(Anyone who may remember the Funny Or Die "trailer" for a Weird Al biopic, this is that but an actual film)
Dodgeball. One of my good friends favorite movies, he showed it to me. It was funny. :)
Super mario bros the movie in 3D verry cool 😁
I saw Guardians Vol. 3 and it was good not great. I liked the first two better but it's a decent movie, especially compared to the other titles recently in the MCU
John Wick 4Loved it, though it's almost non stop action I really liked how they did the ending :).
Deadpool 2 last night
the lobster. dog hurt warning
A Knight’s Tale. It was so good! That's a great one! I love little one-off movies like that.
Spider-man into the spider-verse. It was cool but I don't know if I loved it as much as everyone else seemed to. But I wanted to see it before I see the new sequel.

Glad you guys like it, I haven't seen the English version but if it's similar to the Swedish original it explains the Swedish condition quite well.

Actually just watched this movie. It captured the Swedish one quite well but a bit more theatrical. Didn't like Marisol, to over the top. Tom hanks did a great otto

It would be cool to watch the Swedish one if I can find it dubbed in English (I presume it’s not in English). I’m bad at subtitles because when I focus on the words and miss the movie.
Prisoners (2013)
It was very disturbing
Barbie, second time I've watched it
Barbie, second time I've watched it
Is it worth watching even if I'm not interested in and never had any relation to barbies before?
Like is the movie good on its own

Yes you don't have to know anything about Barbies in particular. It's kind of a mix between goofy comedy, social satire and philosophical points about sense of self, so some people might find it a bit tonally inconsistent but if it works for you it's a great film :cheesy:
Watched "Napoleon" yesterday. Very well done in terms of cinematography, battle sequences, and pacing. Could've been both shorter and done a little better on historical accuracy with some scenes. Acting by all was fantastic.I also want to watch Napoleon. Is there a big historical inaccuracy or are just small ones?
Midsommar had me tweakin
