Is there any instrument/s that you wish you could play?
With me it is the Saxophone and guitar electric or acoustic not fussed.
-
As an amateur musician, I get really jealous of those people that can just pick any instrument of any kind and just instantly know how to play it. So rather than wishing I could play any one instrument, I wish that I had that talent.
-
Guitar and drums. Ive always loved the drums but never had the space to set them up and play them. Im slowly teaching myself but it takes forever! Im not patient! :345678
-
Definitely the Drums!
-
Piano - for starters.
-
Piano, guitar and drums - I've made attempts to all three at various times but never stuck with any of them
-
I used to play drums. I had to give my kit away once it was damaged due to the wood getting wet. I started to also to play intros of songs on bass and guitars but never really learned more to play each, so I still would like to learn to play either. :543 Drumming is so cool! :323232
-
French horn - when I used to take band class I was so jealous of the kids who played it. It has such a beautiful sound as I always wished I'd chosen it instead of the euphonium.
-
Viola.
-
Maybe a theremin, but it'd probably just stay there untouched.
-
Learning keyboard

Learning keyboard
you mean the organ right?
-
Harmonica,violin and piano.
-
^I could teach you how to play the harmonica.. its just really about blowing and inhaling air.
-

Why didn't mention that, I'm like an uber radio nerd. I love it for the fact it was an attempt to build a radio, but instead it made other worldly sounds.

Thank you very much. I would really appreciate it. How would we communicate though?

It is like a guitar with a really long neck. Makes a kind of high pitched noise. Google it.

Instrument I wish I could play, no...but instrument I wish I could play better a resounding YES! I wish I were better at the bagpipes...sadly it's hard to find a place to practice that doesn't get me thrown out or potentially shot at...
-
I play some of the conventional ones especially Bass and Piano, i think it would have to be drums or Saxophone.
There's a few
-
For me, 5 string banjo in the style of Earl Scruggs.
-
Ocarina would be cool. Some small instruments could be nice in general - something you can carry with you.

Ohhh.. THE DESSERT GUITAR!!

Without a doubt the piano. I wish that I could be the male version of Tori Amos, just by the way I met Tori Amos in South Africa this year in June.
-
I wish I could play the oboe, shakuhachi, and the shamisen
-

Guittar
I have already bought one and teached myself the intro from smoke on the water (I can't read music). A month later two and a half men came up...
-
Definitely the piano, guitar, and saxophone. Working on the guitar now, and I intend to start the saxophone soon!

Thanks haha, I'm loving the guitar so far!
-
would love to play the violin :L
-
There are a few I wish I could play - drums, steel guitar, fiddle, and guitar. Just have never gotten into playing instruments after parents made me take piano lessons, I didn't find it fun at the time and now wish I would have went more into the music side of things to compliment my being active in sports.
-
Drums first then bass guitar... but Drums hands down.

I still want to learn how to play the guitar and learn to write songs better and faster
-
I always wanted to learn the banjo. Steve Martin plays and is amazing.
-
Drums!! and Guitar!! I've always wanted to play the drums but don't have the place to set em up...
-
I would love to play the piano.
-
I would love to play the piano.
Same. It's so classical and amazing. I play the guitar, all it takes is sounding like total crap for a while and then just getting slowly better day by day. You guys can do it!
-
I already tried paino. It's obe of the things I simply can't pick up.
-
I would like to just get better at piano. I had a chance to learn as a kid but I wasn't all that interested. Now I wanna learn a lot more.
-
Piano
Don't know why I stopped playing and learning it
-
Is there an easier way to learn how to play guitar without paying for lessons?

You could watch tutorials online, but sorry to say, there is really no way to easily and properly learn an instrument, it takes a lot of time, dedication and patience. If you have those, you'll be good to go!.
-
You can learn it on your own. You just won't have a structured learning process. The easiest way to learn songs is guitar tabs. Then you can watch YouTube videos on playing the guitar. Then it's up to you to practice.
-
I would love to play the bass guitar again. Unfortunately had to sell my bass and amplifier a few months ago, but I'm hoping in the near future I can get some good equipment again. Also, I would love to learn the cello. It's always seemed like such a cool instrument to me.
-
Steel guitar. Organ, like the rock organ in Green Eyed Lady.
-
I'd love to learn to play the synthesizer, or electronic drums
-
The guitar, very much! I even have a guitar, and started to practice on a regular basis on GuitarBots (which they have shut down as I discovered just now), but I don't have the time... :(
-
Double bass and trumpet would be cool, also violin.
-
Violoncello and saxophone, my favorite instruments after piano.
-
Gonna take drum lessons next year :cheesy:
-
i'm a grade 8 on the French horn but i'm learning the Viola now :)
-
I wish I could learn how to play guitar. Just seems the perfect instrument for me
-
Two times I tried to learn how to play a guitar. But the patience is missing. I just don't have it. And my fingers were hurting.
-
I'd love to play guitar too, but my hands are just too uncoordinated! I can almost play the spoons if you could call them an instrument, oh, and air guitar/drums!
-
Guitar and drums for sure. I'd have to play a droptuned guitar and be a lazy djent player, but oh well lol. And on drums, 300 BPM blast beats would be so much fun, but its not gonna happen.
-
Trombone. I grew up playing the baritone, but trombones actually have parts in orchestras and they seem more fun. Trombones are also easier to transport.
